Greer holds a post-graduate diploma (cum laude) in sustainable development from the University of Stellenbosch. She joined the Centre for Environmental Rights in September 2017 to help establish Just Share and was one of its first employees from March 2018.
Greer contributes to Just Share’s organisational and communications strategy development and implementation; engages with stakeholders; conducts research and analysis; and plays a key role in the smooth running of a motivated and productive team. Prior to joining Just Share, she worked as Research and Engagement Specialist at a sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) rating and verification service provider. Throughout her career, she has supported organisations with the implementation of governance best practice and compliance; developed HR attraction and retention policies (including programmes to educate staff on sustainability issues and embed a culture of stewardship); developed practical approaches to corporate social investment; and worked for the closer alignment by private companies with the Sustainable Development Goals.
In 2020 Greer completed the Cambridge University online course in Sustainable Finance and in 2018, she completed the Institute of Directors’ Being a Director (Part 1-4) programme.
