Position summary

Help shape conversations that matter. We are looking for a creative, organised and digitally savvy Digital Communications Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Communications, you will play an important role in bringing our work to life through compelling digital content, helping to translate complex issues into engaging stories that reach and resonate with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with and under the guidance of the Head of Strategic Communications, and supporting programme teams, you will:
  • Support the day-to-day deliver of Just Share’s digital communications across our website, social media platforms and other digital channels. Create and adapt content for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
  • Draft and edit social media copy, website content, newsletters, articles and other digital communications.
  • Create digital graphics, visual assets and simple publications using Canva, Adobe Express or similar software.
  • Capture photographs and short-form video content at organisational events, campaigns and activities.
  • Support the preparation and roll-out of digital communications campaigns.
  • Maintain and update website content, ensuring information remains accurate, accessible and current.
  • Schedule and publish content using social media management platforms.
  • Keep an eye on engagement across digital platforms and flag or respond to comments and queries as appropriate.
  • Track basic website and social media analytics and assist with monthly reporting.
  • Keep up to date with digital trends, tools and platform developments, and share useful ideas with the team.
  • Provide practical communications support for organisational events, publications, reports and campaigns.

About you:

You’ll ideally have:

  • A relevant Diploma or Degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Public Relations or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Approximately 1–3 years’ relevant experience in digital communications, content creation, social media or a related field.
  • Some experience updating websites using WordPress or another content management system.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with good editing and proofreading ability.
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, CapCut or similar creative software.
  • Photography and basic video editing skills.
  • A basic understanding of digital analytics, SEO and audience engagement.
  • A good eye for design, detail and visual consistency.
  • An interest in the non-profit, advocacy, sustainability or social impact sectors; previous experience in these areas would be advantageous but is not essential.
