Introducing Just Share’s new board of directors

Just Share is proud to introduce our new non-executive directors, who will provide oversight of the work we do, our strategy, how we spend our funds, manage risk, comply with the law and ensure that we adhere to the highest standards of non-profit governance, including the practices set out in King IV. Our new non-executive directors* are:

  • Lauren Burnhill, Executive Director, One Planet Ventures LLC
  • Xolisa Dhlamini, Lecturer in development finance, UCT Graduate School of Business
  • Professor Dugan Fraser (current chair), Director, Centre for Learning on Evaluation and Results, University of the Witwatersrand
  • Sherman Indhul, Executive Manager, Corporate Sustainability, Transnet
  • Methuli Mbanjwa, Executive Director, Forethought Africa
  • Sbonelo Mkhize, iNkosi of the AbaMbo Traditional Council, Hlathikhulu, Estcourt
  • Mpho Mtsi, Investment Associate, Tamela Holdings

Executive Director of Just Share, Tracey Davies, says: “Each of our board members brings different and invaluable perspectives and experience, and will hold specific responsibilities designed to guide and support Just Share in our drive for better leadership by the custodians of South Africa’s private capital. Together, our board members are also legally, financially and morally responsible for our organisation and will, therefore, be performing a crucial role. I wish our board a very warm welcome, and thank them for the significant contribution they have already started to make to Just Share.

* Non-executive board members receive no remuneration for their work as directors of Just Share
