Andrea Koch is a qualified chartered accountant with over 20 years’ experience in financial management across various industries. After completing her studies at UCT and her articles with Ernst & Young in Johannesburg, where she specialised in the financial sector, Andrea relocated to the UK with her husband.
Initially, she worked at large banking and property companies in the UK before leaving the corporate world in order to run two small businesses that she owned with her husband in south London.
After eight years abroad Andrea and her family returned to Cape Town. In 2015 she took up the role of Finance Manager at a non-profit organisation (NPO) that aims to empower youth through peer education programmes. Thereafter Andrea worked for a further two NPOs before joining Just Share in August 2022. She continues to serve on the board of one of these organisations, which provides humanitarian assistance to refugees and asylum seekers.
