Ayabulela (Aya) joined Just Share in March 2020. He holds a BCom degree and is a BCom (Hons) in Finance candidate at the University of the Western Cape (UWC). During his undergraduate programme at UWC, Aya achieved several distinctions which resulted in him becoming a lifetime member of the University’s Golden Key International Honour Society.

In 2018, Aya became one of the top achievers of the UWC Department of Economics after achieving second position for best performance in the University’s course in public economics. In the same year, he was invited to join the UWC Young Investor Programme.

In 2014, when Aya was seventeen years old, he co-founded a youth soccer team for boys living in the Wallacedene community in Kraaifontein. The team, which now consists of approximately 50 boys between the ages of ten and eighteen, has achieved several awards. Winning is not the only motivation behind this initiative, however. Aya believes that participation in the Transkei Visitors Football Club not only helps to develop young boys into more disciplined, responsible and resourceful members of their communities, but that it also develops their characters and facilitates early mental, physical and leadership development.
