Lise is Head of Sustainability Analysis at Matter, a Danish fintech company specializing in sustainable investments. Here her work focuses on integrating multi-stakeholder and science-based data and frameworks into tech solutions for portfolio analysis, with a focus on bringing these insights into investment decision-making.
Prior to joining Matter, Lise was Vice President at WWF’s Asia Sustainable Finance team based in Singapore where she supported financial institutions across the region with research and training on sustainable finance and managed stakeholder engagements for the Asia Sustainable Finance Initiative – a multi-stakeholder initiative brings together global industry, academic, and science-based resources to support financial institutions in the region in implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) best practices.
Lise also previously headed up strategy at South Africa based corporate sustainability consultancy GCX and in 2014 spent 6 months with WWF in Bhutan – a trip inspired by ‘Beyond GDP’ measures of wellbeing.
Lise holds a BComm Honours degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town and a MSc in Environmental Economics from the London School of Economics.
